Here is the latest:
- OceanPlanet is getting a flashy new topsides paint job to
go along with her new
white bottom paint! This is in addtion to a refaired keel, bulb,
and rudder. Very nice.
I can't show you the new color yet...but we
are taking votes and comments on Sailing
Anarchy.
- It looks like OP will be heading for the
Caribbean this fall instead of France. While it would be GREAT to have the
boat in France to watch the start of the 08/09 Vendee Globe, we must
do what makes the most financial sense. It turns out that more crew have
signed up for the Caribbean run...which will be a great ride too!
After all, taking the flight and train to Les Sables is
much faster than sailing...;-)
- There is still plenty of room for the
trip! The Caribbean run will be too legs leg 1 from
New England to Bermuda, leg 2 from Bermuda to St. Maarten. Let me know if you're
interested.
- In the meantime, have a look at these great pics
of OceanPlanet at the the City Convention Hall in Les Sables. Pretty
impressive.
