July 25th is the Northeast Harbor Fleet's FLEET NIGHT 2007 with special
guest speaker...yours truly. I will doing my full video/audio/slide
show after a casual buffet that starts at 6pm.
If you were to chose a
great place to do a show about 2 solo circumnavigations, it would be hard to top
this...
Summer in Maine is a special experience, especially for those
that venture out on the spectacular coastline. One of the most famous
destinations is Mount Desert
Island, which is home to the "Northeast Harbor Fleet".
With a great history and boasting past commodores the likes of David
Rockefeller, the Northeast Harbor Fleet also has the world's largest fleet of
IOD's (International One Designs). In fact, they hosted the 2003 IOD World
Championships.
This should be a great evening in a great location!
