Everyone has their Xmas and NY's wish lists...here
are mine, in no particular order...;-)
1) A Title Sponsor for a full-on two-boat IMOCA
racing program...to charter a top existing boat for the 2007 Barcelona World Race while we build
two new boats to race in the 2008 Transat and the 08/09 Vendee Globe. Along the way
we utilize OceanPlanet for education, training, and hospitality platform for our
Sponsor.
2) In the meantime, we find an education or
Foundation partner to help us repair/maintain OP this winter in return for
the use of the boat next spring/summer. We REALLY need partners to
help!
3) Barring that, another sailor buys or charters OP
for next year's IMOCA races?
4) Some of the great products and inventions that
I'm consulting on in Maine get rolling...sorry, can't tell you what they are
yet...
5) I get this book
for Christmas...
6) World peace, end of hunger and racism, advent of
human powered flight. I win the Tour de France, play guitar at Carnegie
Hall, and live happily ever after with a gourmet chef.
