Vendee Globe report-live in Les Sables!
If you didn’t already know it, I am in Les Sables d’Olonne for the start of
the 2012-2013 Vendee Globe. Tomorrow (Nov 10th), the 20 skippers will start the
world’s longest race...solo, nonstop, around the world, with no
assistance.

Ocean Racing, Bike Racing, and a New Year
Wow...Banque Populaire, the world’s largest and fastest ocean racing
trimaran, is well on the way to setting the new around
the world sailing record. It is amazing how fast they are going!
Still a few thousand miles to go and anything can happen, but they are over
1000nm ahead of of the previous record.
